Experienced band of exciting funk, consecrated and applauded throughout the globe.

Speedometer has been at the forefront of the British funk scene since 1999. Acknowledged for their authentic 70s sound live shows, they mix funk, latin and soul from all over the world.

They have released eight albums and dozens of 45'' which have been played by worldwide djs for more than fifteen years so far.

They have collaborated with top artists such as Lee Fields, Sir Joe Quarterman, Eddie Bo, Marva Whitney, Sharon Jones, Billy Wooten and Martha High.

Since 2015, James Junior’s voice has joined the band, very active in the soul and gospel UK scene. With clearly Motown roots, he gives a special freshness to the set.
